Content of the event
The procurement of hardware, software and other IT services is becoming increasingly important for public administration in both strategic and practical terms. At the same time, IT procurement is one of the most complex and legally demanding procedures in public procurement law. When awarding such contracts, a number of special features need to be taken into account - starting with the correct categorisation of the service, the choice of the right award procedure and the formulation of legally compliant suitability and award criteria. Errors at this point often lead to review procedures.
This seminar will teach you the relevant public procurement regulations and principles of IT procurement. The focus is in particular on
- the careful preparation of the contract award and the precise formulation of the service description,
- the legally compliant organisation of the award procedure, including the suitability and evaluation criteria, and
In addition, the EVB-IT (Supplementary Contract Terms for the Procurement of IT Services) was another central focus of the event. These contractual regulations, which must be used by the public sector or at least urgently, comprise a differentiated system of various contract types with the corresponding general terms and conditions. The seminar will provide you with a clear overview of the scope of application, the system and the practical, legally compliant use of the EVB-IT.
