We ensure that science can develop in a protected environment and that all those involved can fulfil their professional and official responsibilities.

We deal with the legal and organisational problems of modern research and teaching.

In our Law firm we advise Universities in organisational and structural issues as well as in disputes between university bodies or the distribution of resources and funding. As project-related public and private funding is becoming increasingly important for universities and non-university research institutions, we support companies in the initiation, agreement and realisation of Co-operations.

A particular focus of our law firm is the Animal experimentation law: Basic medical research is not possible without Animal testing is not enough. We advise university hospitals, biotech companies and research institutions so that they can fulfil their special responsibility in this sensitive area. Prof Dr Matthias Dombert has been a member of the E-Commission Ethics which provides expert advice to authorities on the authorisation of animal experiments in the interests of animal welfare.

In addition, we also deal with issues relating to the Research law, The company is also involved in other areas, such as the transfer of university knowledge or the realisation of clinical studies.
