As we all know, all theory is grey. This can sometimes also apply to law studies. For this reason, the law firm offers the DOMBERT Summer Practice Programme and the DOMBERT Winter Practice Programme for four weeks, providing an insight into the practical day-to-day work of a law firm. Six law students between the 3rd and 9th semesters are currently accompanying the lawyers until the end of September and getting to know the various practice groups at the law firm. They are also taking part in a programme of lectures and excursions put together especially for them. This includes, for example, attending a chamber session of the administrative court Potsdam and a court hearing in Cottbus. The students visited a wind farm and took part in a guided tour of the Brandenburg state parliament, followed by discussions with members of parliament from various political groups. Sightseeing in and around Potsdam is not neglected either. „With our summer practice, we want to show students the thematic diversity of public law and get them excited about it,“ says Dr Maximilian Dombert, managing partner of the law firm.
