Content of the event
As the saying goes, where there's wood, there are chips. It is inevitable that mistakes will be made during the planning and execution of a construction contract, which public building owners will have to deal with. Cost increases, missed deadlines and defects in the building are all part of the daily routine of construction management.
In our legal practice, we have found that, in particular, inaccurate service descriptions and uncertain contractual arrangements when commissioning construction services, but also their defective execution and changes to the timing and content of the execution of the commissioned work, repeatedly lead to legal disputes for municipal clients that could be avoided.
In our online seminar, we therefore provide information on the legally compliant handling of existing contracts as well as on the risks to be avoided when drafting future construction contracts for the commissioning of construction services, from the service description and drafting of the contract documents to the correct management of supplements and the handling of warranty claims for defects and construction delays.
