Content of the event

In the area of funding law, local authorities can not only set up funding programmes and award funds themselves: as part of the indirect state administration, they are often on the side of the applicant and funding recipient. The seminar offers practical advice on how to submit legally compliant applications and utilise funding.

What is it about?

Grants are voluntary financial payments by the public sector to third parties for the realisation of specific interests. When local authorities apply for funding, they - like any private recipient of funding - are subject to numerous obligations with regard to its utilisation. The “worst case", i.e. the cancellation of the grant and the reclaiming of the funds, must be avoided at all costs in order to prevent financial damage to the municipal grant recipient.

The seminar provides you with practice-orientated knowledge, from the application to the proof of use. We assume that the participants have a basic knowledge of subsidy law.
