Content of the event
The Federal Immission Control Act (BImSchG) aims to protect humans, animals and plants, soil, water, the atmosphere as well as cultural and other material assets. To this end, it not only stipulates that and under what conditions the construction and modification of certain installations require a licence. It also defines various obligations for plant operators, for example when it comes to compliance with and monitoring of plant safety and emission values for noise, air pollutants and odours.
Keeping an overview of this complex and multifaceted subject area demands a lot from those involved. Against this background, the webinar offers a helpful introduction and a good overview of the basics of this area of law. Among other things, you will learn which „stages“ are particularly important in the authorisation procedure. In material terms, the requirements for authorisation and the relevant regulations are discussed, as well as the responsibilities and obligations of plant operators and possible rights of appeal.
