In the recently published vhw werkSTADT No. 74 Dr Maximilian Dombert and Dr Dominik Lück, lawyers specialising in administrative law, on the current challenges facing local authorities in the areas of energy supply and environmental protection as well as in the development of residential and commercial areas.  

At municipal level, federal laws must be implemented in a legally secure manner, which requires complex decision-making processes. The lawyers have been working with many local authorities for several years to help with this implementation. In an interview with Dr Kristina Seidelsohn (vhw e. V.), they talk about their experiences with the increasing conflicts and the players involved. 

The interviewees also emphasised that a communicative approach of early participation is needed to resolve the various conflicts of use at local level.
