In Aue-Bad Schlema in the Ore Mountains, the party leader of the far-right „Freie Sachsen“ has contested the mayoral election. Their candidate had lost by a narrow margin to the CDU candidate. In an interview with the *Freie Presse*, Rechtsanwalt’s Dr Dominik Lück analyses and assesses the objections raised as having little merit. Even if the allegations were true, any electoral irregularities would still have to be proven to have influenced the result for the challenge to succeed, according to Lück.
