Contracting authorities and bidders must comply with new thresholds when preparing and conducting award procedures from 1 January 2026. The European Commission made the adjustments for public contracts and concessions with the Delegated Regulations (EU) 2025/2150, 2025/2151 and 2025/2152 of 22 October 2025. The following thresholds will then apply from 1 January 2026

• Construction contracts: 5,404,000 euros
• Supply and service contracts: 216,000 euros
• Supply and service contracts (sector contracting authorities): 432,000 euros
• Supply and service contracts (federal authorities): 140,000 euros
• Construction and service concessions: 5,404,000 euros
