From a legal perspective, party affiliation is usually unproblematic for public contracts, as public procurement law does not take political views into account - exceptions are only made for particularly sensitive, security-relevant contracts. The categorisation of the AfD by the Office for the Protection of the Constitution does not currently have any automatic consequences, even for civil servants.
