There was a lively discussion at the Heinrich Heine University (HHU) dialogue forum on 20 May 2025 on the topic of „Where will tomorrow's electricity come from?“ After an exciting introductory lecture by Prof. Dr Georg Pretzler, Professor of Physics at HHU, on the fundamentals of energy supply, the panel discussion was moderated by Rechtsanwalt Tobias Roß and included Wibke Brems, Chairwoman of the Green Party in the NRW state parliament, Dr Stefan Nykamp, Managing Director of the Düsseldorf electricity, water and gas network operator, and Christian Mildenberger, Managing Director of the state company NRW.Energy4Climate. They also discussed hot topics such as the security of the electricity supply, economic policy issues such as the opportunities for green steel in NRW and energy law issues.
