We promote young talent

Get to know the whole range of public law with us.

Your training is a high priority for us.

Benefit from our programmes for young legal professionals.

We are interested in getting to know young lawyers as early as possible - as a student assistant before or as a research assistant after the first state examination. We also attach great importance to training in the legal traineeship programme. Many of our lawyers have already worked for us during their legal clerkship.

We offer a comprehensive and Versatile training programme. These include, for example, a DOMBERT revision course or various workshops on topics such as rhetoric, correct citation or legal research.

Out of the lecture theatre, into the Practice.

We offer students an insight into everyday life in a law firm.

The cases in the degree programme are instructive, but sometimes very theoretical.
But a practical case makes studying law even more exciting.

We therefore offer the DOMBERT Summer practice and the DOMBERT Winter practice for four weeks to gain an insight into everyday life in a law firm. Our programme developed especially for the students includes various lectures and excursions as well as participation in court hearings. The students get to know the various practice groups at the firm and thus gain an impression of the diversity of topics in public law and the practical work of a lawyer.

We have supported the ELSA Germany Administrative Law Moot Court (EDVMC) for several years. In this student competition, students take part in a court hearing as fictitious parties and thus gain an insight into practice. We regularly organise the so-called Pre-Moot in our offices to prepare the student teams for the final rounds of negotiations.

Expand your knowledge in the DomRep.

We support you on the way to the second state examination in law.

Training in the legal traineeship is important to us, because we see our trainee lawyers as potential colleagues of tomorrow.

We carefully prepare you for the second state law examination in the DOMBERT Repititorium (DomRep). It is led by Ulf Domgörgen, former presiding judge at the Federal Administrative Court and now Of Counsel in our practice. In addition, several partners teach at universities alongside their work as lawyers and are involved as part-time examiners for the state examination office. We therefore know what you need to achieve for your exams and prepare you extensively for them.

Why we are in favour of DOMBERT Rechtsanwälte have decided.

„As a young professional at DOMBERT Rechtsanwälte, I was able to work on exciting mandates from day one, which challenged me anew every day. Thanks to these challenges and the responsibility that you quickly take on, I have already been able to work on many different case constellations and subject areas in my first few years here. And if you have any questions, you can always get support from your colleagues, even on a walk along the Jungfernsee.“

„Many mandates touch on several legal topics. That's why we regularly work together across departments. This is a lot of fun and enables us to develop expertise in other specialist areas and thus expand our own skills.“

After completing my first state examination in law, I decided to do a doctorate. At the same time, however, I also wanted to finally immerse myself in professional legal practice. At DOMBERT Rechtsanwälte, I am able to do just that. As a research assistant, I am directly involved in challenging cases by law firm partners and am trained „on the job“ for the Rechtsanwalt profession. My interest in public law meets a high quality of training, respectful cooperation and a strong team of research assistants and trainee lawyers.

Your career starts here.
