The digital transformation in public administration is progressing. Against this backdrop, the second „TechTalk“ organised by DOMBERT Rechtsanwälte on 23 April 2026 focused on the use of artificial intelligence in Berlin's administration.

Dr Benjamin Seibel, Head of CityLAB Berlin, spoke about his experiences and the tension between technical innovation and internal administrative requirements that he encounters when developing and implementing artificial intelligence in administration. CityLAB is a project of the Technology Foundation that develops digital applications and prototypes to make life in Berlin easier. Seibel's presentation on the introduction of the AI-based language model BärGPT in the Berlin administration generated particularly lively discussions at the „TechTalk“.

With the „TechTalks“, DOMBERT wants to create a forum in which steps towards digital transformation in the administration can be discussed and advanced and the players involved can exchange ideas.
