Content of the event

The planned amendment to the BauGB also includes a tightening of the regulations governing the local authority’s right of pre-emption.

The seminar takes a closer look at two amendments to the draft bill: Firstly, we will examine the question of how pre-emption rights will be handled in future

which will need to be taken into account in environmental protection areas.

Secondly, we will be looking at the proposed regulations on the right of first refusal in the context of a so-called ‘share deal’. Both proposed amendments to the draft bill are of considerable interest to local authorities, particularly – though not exclusively – in urban areas.
