Content of the event
Flexible grid connection agreements (FCAs) can help to enable faster grid connections for renewable energy projects despite grid expansion lagging behind. They can also represent an acceleration option on the consumer side.
In a flexible grid connection agreement, the grid operator and the subscriber agree on the specific conditions under which the use of the grid connection can be temporarily or permanently limited, controlled or made more flexible.
DOMBERT has developed a model contract text for FCAs on behalf of the Fachagentur Wind und Solar. The seminar shows how this model contract text can be used in practice.
The focus here is on the central control aspects: different types of active power limitation, the relationship to redispatch, control of active power limitation using measurement and control tools, contract term regulations, cancellation rules and the integration of storage systems.
The seminar is aimed at all players in the energy industry, in particular plant and grid operators as well as financiers, but also large energy consumers and anyone else who would like to better understand or (prospectively) utilise the flexible grid connection contract.
